Service Overview
By registering to use ODFF.NET Listing services,
you agree to the terms and conditions set forth below. ODFF.NET is designed to advertise Fire Fighters, Law Enforcement Officers, other Public Servants and their family's small businesses. We are capable of allowing
you to list and advertise your trade, service, or product on the World Wide Web by State and County in an easy to find, easy to use, inexpensive way. As a MEMBER of ODFF.NET, we need your help to keep your
cost of listing to a minimum. By advertising our services to other public servants who own a business, we can help them too. No commissions are paid for referrals to new members. However, as a thank you for helping
us help you, members in good standing will acquire one point for each referred member. Ten (10) points will purchase an ODFF T-shirt, Twenty (20) points will purchase an ODFF Polo Shirt and Thirty (30) points will purchase an ODFF
Chambray shirt. Points may be accumulated, never expire and are deleted with a purchase of an ODFF shirt. To view these shirts go to Off Duty Fire Fighter ODFF.NET reserves the right to include traffic generated by all listings
it hosts in its overall accounting of listings, unique users, and other usage measures. This service is provided for BUSINESSES OR D.B.A LISTINGS ONLY. No personal listings. Do not use the listings or links on ODFF.NET to
provide material that is grossly offensive to the Web community, including blatant expressions of bigotry, racism, hatred, or profanity, or for promoting or providing instructional information about illegal activities, or promoting
physical harm or injury against any group or individual. ODFF.NET is not responsible for the content of any link hosted on ODFF.NET. The products, services, opinions and views expressed or advertised in the links
hosted on ODFF.NET do not necessarily reflect those of ODFF.NET. The contents of the links hosted on ODFF.NET may be reviewed before they appear on ODFF.NET. ODFF.NET-hosted links cannot contain, or contain links to, any of the
following: copyrightedmaterial not belonging to you, gambling, nudity, sex, pornography, foul language, hate propaganda, mpeg layer two or three files, anything illegal, mail fraud, pyramid schemes, or insults to other persons or
companies. This includes anything considered adult material. Links hosted on ODFF.NET may not include copies of any other page and/or images without prior consent from the originator of the other page and/or images. Paid (up to
date) members of ODFF.NET may use the "Off Duty Fire Fighter" Maltese cross and/or ODFF.NET on their business cards, advertising, signs and promotions only
while an active member of ODFF.NET. All copyright laws apply. Sending bulk/spam e-mail, or sending such e-mail with a member listed as the contact address, is grounds for immediate removal. Likewise for mass/spam news postings.
And we also reserve the right to remove any accounts advertising or distributing software or services that may contribute to news or e-mail spamming. ODFF.NET prohibits all scripts that automatically update a links listing and
are submitted to by automated programs, either by design or by use. Use of these scripts is grounds for termination of your ODFF.NET account without any prior notice.
ODFF.NET makes no guarantee as to the availability of service. Listings are subject to removal, if there are more than 4 complaints about listing content, service, product performance, or lack there of. Member may be afforded
response to complaints on a case by case basis.. As the author of links hosted on ODFF.NET, you take full responsibility for their contents. The links hosted on ODFF.NET may not contain anything illegal, pornographic, degrading
or abusive to another person, including pages that promote hate-group propaganda. No copyrighted material not belonging to you may be posted on the links hosted by ODFF.NET. ODFF.NET has the right to remove any link it determines,
in its sole judgment, has violated these conditions. Limitation of Liability. MEMBER understands that the Internet and other various networking communication mediums are not secure, unless explicitly specified as such, and may
be subject to interception or loss. ODFF.NET makes no warranties of any kind, either express, implied, or statutory concerning the data or information available through the ODFF.NET network. IN NO EVENT WILL OFF DUTY FIRE FIGHTER
ENT., O.D.F.F., ODFF.NET, OR IT'S SUBSIDIARIES BE LIABLE TO MEMBER FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCTS PROVIDED UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED
OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO MEMBER. ODFF.NET'S liability to
Member for actual damages for any cause whatsoever, regardless of the form of the action will be strictly limited to a maximum of the Fees paid for the prior 12 months. ODFF.NET, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, OWNERS, AGENTS AND
EMPLOYEES, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY LOSS OR INJURY RESULTING FROM USE OF ODFF.NET, CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY ITS NEGLIGENCE OR CONTINGENCIES BEYOND ITS CONTROL IN PROCURING, COMPILING, INTERPRETING,
REPORTING, MAINTAINING OR DELIVERING ODFF.NET AND ANY CONTENT FOUND ON ODFF.NET-HOSTED LINKS OR LISTINGS. IN NO EVENT WILL ODFF.NET, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, OWNERS, AGENTS AND EMPLOYEES, BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY
DECISION MADE OR ACTION TAKEN BY YOU IN RELIANCE ON SUCH CONTENT ODFF.NET, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, OWNERS, AGENTS AND EMPLOYEES, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY DIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL,
INDIRECT, OR SIMILAR DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE ODFF.NET. Indecency Clause. ODFF.NET services may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmission or
solicitation of any material that violates United States Federal, State or other laws that may apply in this jurisdiction or your local area is prohibited. This may include material that is obscene, threatening, harassing,
libelous, or in any way a violation of intellectual property laws. No material may be published on links hosted by ODFF.NET that would commonly be considered "indecent" or "appealing to the prurient interest"
also commonly referred to as "adult" material, nor will any links to such sites exist within the links hosted by ODFF.NET. MEMBER agrees to use the ODFF.NET account in a way that conforms with all applicable laws and
regulations. MEMBER specifically agrees not to make any attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks contained either within or outside or under the direct control of ODFF.NET's network. ODFF.NET reserves the
right to delete any link it deems unacceptable for any reason without prior notice. ODFF.NET reserves the right to modify this agreement at any time, with or without notice, at ODFF.NET's sole discretion. Coroporate Sponsors
Large commercial corporations that provide fire service or public service
products and services may sponsor one state with a banner ad and may have a listing in that state and/or all 50 states. Only one corporate sponsor is allowed per state with top banner space. Banner space is provided on a first
received basis. If a state has an existing corporate sponsor, you must choose an available state. However you may list under a category in that state. Should a preoccupied state become available, existing corporate sponsors will
have first choice when filling that space. Non-Profit Organizatons
Benevolent funds, trusts, scholarships and other public sevant, not for profit organizations may list in one state in the Non Profit category only. The listing is free of charge with
proof of not for profit status. |
